HOLY WEEK
For the past few years, it has been a privilege to share the spiritual journey of our Lord’s last week of His earthly life in the company of our good friends from Alloway Parish Church. This year the services will be held in St Columba, from Monday 29th March to Friday 2nd April  (except Thursday  1st April when we will go out to Alloway for Communion), each evening at 7.30p.m.
We look forward to hearing the different preachers each night, as we contemplate the drama of Christ’s Passion and journey from the Mount of Olives through the Garden of Gethsemane and the Judgement Hall of Pilate to Calvary – walking in the footsteps of the Saviour.
Perhaps it is only when we have walked in His footsteps that the full glory of Easter comes flooding in upon us after contemplating our Lord’s suffering.
“O come and mourn with me awhile, Jesus our Lord is crucified!”
EASTER SUNDAY
7.30 am:         Service on the Low Green
8.00 am:         Breakfast in the Church Hall

9.30 am:         Family Service

11.15 am:       Morning Worship and Sacrament of Baptism

12.30 pm:       Celebration of Holy Communion
6.30 pm:         Evening Service

You are invited to bring a bunch of spring flowers to adorn the empty Cross. After the 11.15 service, these will be delivered to many of our members and friends who have been bereaved since last Easter, conveying to them our warmest thoughts and our faith in the Risen Christ.
“O Rejoice that the Lord has arisen!”

Verse of The Day
“who has saved us and called us to a holy life-not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,” (2 Timothy 1:9)
